The category of businessmen is subdivided into three types as follows:

INVESTORS:
The candidate must have the status of company manager and must have earned 800.000 § can with licit means.
Entrepreneurs Have to create , purchase or invest a considerable amount of money in order to take part in stimulating the economy and creating job opportunities.

SELF-EMPLOYING WORKERS: Have to create or purchase a company in Canada in order to participate in stimulating the economy, culture and art. In this category, professional athletes, artists, actors, farmers and writers are targeted. The federal government selects immigrants according to the wants in each province. This selection is especially oriented to businessmen. Quebec has its own immigration program. To settle in Quebec, a candidate needs a selection certificate of Quebec ( CSQ ) along with a request of permanent residence in Canada. Manitoba, New-Brunswick and Alberta choose their own immigtrants .
